Reconciliation Week

Reconciliation is an ongoing process that requires collective effort and empathy.
Today's assembly served as a powerful reminder that we each have a role to play in fostering understanding, respect, and unity in our daily lives as we continue to strive toward reconciliation.
Our Umbarra students took the stage to showcase their traditional dance, symbolising the richness of their culture. They also shared Australia's journey towards reconciliation, urging us all to take small steps every day and ‘Be a Voice for Generations,’ in line with this year’s Reconciliation Week theme.
Thank you to our special guests for their attendance, Shakhyah Knights for sharing her poem ‘A Percentage,’ and to our choir who graced us with their heartfelt rendition of ‘From Little Things Big Things Grow.’
