The team travelled to Mackay in the first week of the holidays. The QISSN Tournament is one of the biggest school netball carnivals in Australia, with teams from 64 schools participating across eight divisions. Our team played ten games across the week, and displayed excellent skills, determination, and teamwork. After a fantastic week of netball, we finished in 3rd place in Division 3!

Thank you to Ms Bell and Mrs Wardley for coaching and managing the team, Mrs Toohey for her work coaching and organising the team before the Carnival, and Ms Galvin and Ms Turner for their support of the team while in Mackay.

Congratulations to Tia Molo for being named in the Rising Stars Team for her outstanding performance over the week at QISSN! Tia was selected by Australian netball legend, Vicki Wilson, and former Queensland Firebird, Tracey Bruce. Congratulations also to Mahlia Henare on being named as the Most Valuable Player in our team, as voted by our opponents! Both players are only in Year 9 and we look forward to seeing them continue to shine in coming years!
