How do you help my daughter transition to high school?
Throughout the year we hold a couple of SJFC Awaits events that provide opportunities for Year 6 students to meet each other and some teachers. This allows friendships to develop prior to the first day of school.
We also hold an Orientation Day for incoming Year 7 students. This generally occurs in Term 4 of Year 6. At this time students learn which House they are in and learn what the first few days of secondary school will be like. This is an opportunity for students and parents to ask questions and begin to familiarise themselves with the College.
