College calls Action on masterplan

It's fitting during our 40th year as we reflect on how far our College has come to call 'Action' on our masterplan. We are excited to push the button on the demolition of Bridgeman block to extend and improve these facilities and common areas. Planned to commence over the Easter holidays, the  project will bring to life a new Hospitality and Design Centre including one commercial kitchens two food tech spaces, purpose built design centre and a new and improved space for Kolega Café. Landscaping will be in sympathy with the College's current facilities. It will include more seating, a small orchard and raised garden beds for vegetable and herb plantings for use in cooking.

The design has been completed by Phillips Smith Conwell (PSC) architects who have led the College through the development of its Master Plan. The buildings have been designed in sympathy with Laudato si the Pope's encyclical on caring for our common home. Consequently, they will be efficient to operate, ensuring environmental impact is minimised. PSC are also responsible for the management of the tender process which is currently underway.
