BCE Student Voice Consultants are a team of students from Year 8-11 who are passionate about making positive changes in BCE schools. The team advocates for students to have a say in the decisions that impact on their school experience and guides the BCE Student Voice initiative.

Due to current social distancing restrictions the Student Voice team will meet fortnightly online to discuss various student led initiatives that will positively impact their schooling experience.

Holly says; “She is honoured to have been selected for the opportunity and thanks Assistant Principal, Andrew McEwan for his support in the application process."

“This role allows me to further develop my leadership skills whilst broadening my network of external peers who I can collaborate with, to present solutions for an adaptable education for present and future students."

Holly says that she aims to be an approachable Student Voice Consultant who empowers students to voice what they feel is affecting their learning experiences as to influence positive change.

“I believe that St John Fisher College has created a rich environment for learning and growth during this period of off campus learning."

“I have been sharing the many practices which our school has implemented with members of the BCE team and many are complementary of our practices."

“Practices such as the successful connection between the College, students and parents that has allowed the community to remain informed and addressed any concerns held by staff, parents or students."
