Students may choose from a wide variety of subjects to study during their senior phase of schooling and may elect to do Authority subjects (OP), non-Authority subjects (Non OP) or a combination of both.
It is important to note the requirements for students entering Year 11 with regards to the Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE). In order to be eligible for the QCE, students must bank 20 credits – 12 of which must be from completed core courses of study and 8 from a combination of core, preparatory, enrichment or advanced courses. The following link will provide further explanation as to what each area involves.
